Welcome to my website
My journey into Reiki began quite by chance in 2004. I found out about this amazing energy. I wanted to learn how to help people to heal themselves so I studied Usui Reiki.
Having passed the first level I went on to pass the 2nd level and qualify as a Reiki Practitioner in 2005.
In 2006 I qualified as a Reiki Master which enabled me to teach Reiki to others.
In 2006 I passed the ITEC Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology.
What is Reiki?
The word Reiki comes from the Japanese kanji or characters - Rei meaning spiritual or sacred and Ki meaning energy.
The western interpretation being Universal Life Force Energy. This energy is all around us and in everything. Invisible but all encompassing. It is the energy that drives us and gives us the ultimate structure and purpose in life.
Usui Reiki was developed from the ancient practices for natural healing by Mikao Usui. A well educated man who had travelled widely and studied ancient Buddhist Teachings and meditation over many years.
